## Description

Race for the Cure is the flagship event of Komen Italia, the largest gathering in Italy and worldwide to combat breast cancer. Held in Rome, at the Circus Maximus, and in four other Italian cities, this event is a blend of sports, health, and solidarity, welcoming all participants. The highlight of Race for the Cure is the Pink Women, those battling or having overcome breast cancer, who wear their distinctive pink shirts to raise awareness about prevention and offer encouragement to the 56,000 Italian women facing the disease each year. Join the cause in Rome, Bari, Bologna, Brescia, Matera, and Naples on scheduled dates in 2024. Stay connected with Race for the Cure on social media @komenitalia #raceforthecure. For more information or to support the event, contact the National Headquarters in Rome or check out the various regional committees. Stand with the Pink Women and make a difference!
