Rachel Lieber IBCLC Lactation Support provides personalized lactation consulting for new families in Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess, and Ulster counties, with telehealth appointments available throughout these areas. Rachel Lieber is a registered nurse and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant who helps families address breastfeeding, chestfeeding, pumping, and bottle-feeding concerns.

Support is available for challenges such as feeding pain, low or abundant milk supply, infant weight-gain questions, latch difficulties, fussiness or sleepiness at the breast, engorgement, plugged ducts, and bottle refusal. Rachel also assists with pumping and milk storage, returning to work, feeding adopted babies or babies born through surrogacy, and breastfeeding after breast surgery.

Initial home consultations include a discussion of medical history and an assessment of the parent and baby. When appropriate, a weighted feeding helps track the baby’s intake, and Rachel works with the family to develop a feeding plan. Follow-up home visits are also available. Virtual consultations cover similar concerns, though they do not include a weighted feed.
