## Description

Rachel Yakar brings occupational therapy, home design guidance, yoga, and knitting together to help individuals and families create more supportive, balanced lives. Based in South Lake Tahoe, California, she is a licensed occupational therapist and founder of Summit Therapy Solutions and Purpose in Place, LLC.

Through pediatric occupational therapy, parent coaching, and family consultation, Rachel supports sensory processing, emotional regulation, daily routines, executive functioning, and participation in meaningful activities. Her practical strategies are designed to fit naturally into everyday life.

As a remodel concierge, she guides homeowners through renovation decisions, helping align design choices with household needs and lifestyle goals, and supporting clear communication with project teams. Her aim is to help create functional home environments that reflect the people who live in them.

Rachel also teaches yoga to encourage balance and focus, and offers knitting instruction for people interested in learning alongside an experienced maker. She teaches knitting classes at Lake Tahoe Community College and leads donation-based yoga classes that foster connection and mindfulness.
