## Description

Race, Racism and the Law is an educational website founded and edited by Vernellia R. Randall, Professor Emerita of Law at the University of Dayton School of Law. Focused primarily on the United States, it examines race, racism, and racial distinctions in law, including how domestic and international legal systems can promote or help alleviate racism. Its central purpose is to make law review scholarship and related materials more accessible to community activists, students, and non-legal faculty.

The site organizes resources across a broad range of subjects, including racial identity, stereotypes, bias, white privilege, constitutional and criminal law, civil rights, immigration, slavery, voting, education, employment, health care, and economic issues. It also addresses intersectionality, indigenous rights, global human rights, and other topics affecting historically oppressed groups. Visitors can read recent articles and weekly racial justice updates, explore databases and teaching materials, and find Randall’s scholarship, syllabi, lectures, memoirs, book, poems, and essays.
