## Description

Radio Diaries is a Peabody Award-winning podcast and producer of audio documentaries for public radio. For more than 30 years, the organization has created unscripted, sound-rich stories that let people report on their own lives and bring overlooked histories to light. Its work is organized around two genres: diaries, in which individuals document everyday experiences, and histories, which explore forgotten chapters of the past. Stories range from teenagers recording their lives and people sharing personal experiences of illness to investigations of historical events and communities. Radio Diaries produces a podcast that listeners can subscribe to for free, and its work airs regularly on NPR’s All Things Considered. Its stories have also appeared on programs and platforms including This American Life, Radiolab, Reveal, The Moth and BBC World Service. In addition to audio documentaries, Radio Diaries offers educational materials, hosts live events and runs storytelling workshops for youth and seniors around the country.
