## Description

The Rady Lady Foundation, Inc. is a U.S. 501(c)(3) public charity focused on raising awareness of cancer and supporting people facing illness. Founded from Sherry Nance’s experience running a freestanding imaging center, the organization grew from a vision of making mammography settings more welcoming through privacy, education, creative activities, remembrance, and comfort.

The foundation creates cancer-awareness plush dolls designed to offer a soft, supportive reminder to patients and families. Its characters include Rady Lady, which promotes breast cancer awareness and represents the radiology profession; Rylan and Sir Ramse, who extend that message to young people and families; Vennie, created in memory of a friend who died of ovarian cancer; and Logan, representing people of any gender on a cancer journey.

The foundation funds the creation of dolls representing different cancers and other causes, donates them to cancer treatment centers and charitable organizations, and provides financial assistance to people diagnosed with cancer or other illnesses who are struggling with medical bills.
