# Rafeiros SOS - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `rafeirossos.com` ## Description Rafeiros SOS is a nonprofit animal welfare association based in Amadora, Portugal, dedicated to improving the well-being of domestic animals rescued from the streets or situations of risk. Formally established in August 2014, the association grew out of an informal group that had already been working for animal welfare for several years. Although based in the Lisbon area, it also receives animals from other parts of Portugal. The association provides rescued animals with attention, affection, suitable facilities and veterinary care, then works to find them permanent homes. Its work focuses mainly on cats, while it also cares for some dogs temporarily; it does not have a dedicated dog shelter. Around 60 animals are typically in its care, although not all live at its shelter. Rafeiros SOS offers adoption guidance, sponsorship opportunities and ways to help through volunteering and donations. Prospective adopters can review available animals, complete an adoption questionnaire, arrange a visit and meet the animals before completing the adoption process. ## Industries - 🐶 Pets and Animals - 🎗 Community and Society - 🎗 Philanthropy _(under Community and Society)_ - 🐶 Animals _(under Pets and Animals)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/RafeirosSOS) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/rafeiros.sos) - [youtube](https://youtube.com/channel/UCFxBntbYC8VZ_eXVOLTLMHQ) ## Logos & icons - icon _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idiR897esm/w/1152/h/1148/theme/dark/icon.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1790846948240) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Eastern Blue | #269abc | accent | | Mine Shaft | #333333 | dark | | Blizzard Blue | #a5daf1 | light | ## Fonts - Roboto — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
