## Description

Rail Trails Australia is a volunteer-driven, not-for-profit organization dedicated to creating and promoting a network of rail trails across Australia. Our mission includes advocating for new rail trails, promoting their use, and connecting stakeholders in current and potential rail trails. We operate sustainably without government funding, relying on product sales and public donations. As part of an international movement, we strive to develop and promote rail trails for active recreation such as walking, cycling, and horse riding. Our vision is to protect Australia's disused rail corridors for heritage and recreational purposes. By preserving these valuable assets, we aim to create more high-quality rail trails, increase trail users, and establish effective rail trail organizations. Join us in preserving this irreplaceable resource and help us develop and support Australia's rail trails. Experience the beauty of our trails and become a part of our community today. Join Rail Trails Australia and be a part of something meaningful.
