Rainbow Center for Communicative Disorders has been dedicated to providing a positive and secure learning environment for children with special needs for almost 45 years. They aim to boost self-esteem and enhance academic and coping skills, helping these children face their daily challenges. Through partnerships with 20 school districts, Rainbow Center works with students in their day school program who have various diagnoses, including Autism, behavior disorders, and other multi-categorical disabilities.

Rainbow Center also offers an Adult Day Habilitation program called Rainbow Options, which was launched in 1996 to address the needs of clients over the age of 21 who couldn't participate in the workshop or other supported employment. This program now serves over 60 adults with severe disabilities. Both the Rainbow Center Day School and Rainbow Options Adult Day Habilitation feature an active Community Access Program.

In addition, they offer Beyond the Rainbow, a service for families needing before and after programming. Their mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment to serve individuals with special educational and developmental needs. Rainbow Center is supported by a dedicated Leadership Board of Directors and executive staff who work tirelessly to fulfill their mission.
