RAISE Center, a project of the SPAN Parent Advocacy Network, is a brand dedicated to providing support and resources to individuals with disabilities, as well as their families. Supported by national grants from the U. S.

Department of Education, RAISE focuses on helping individuals through the transition from secondary school to competitive employment and independent living. RAISE offers a range of services, including disseminating information on best practices for employment outcomes and independent living, sharing strategies for serving diverse populations, creating tools to build capacity for disseminating information and conducting training, and fostering expertise in accessing transition services and career development opportunities. In addition to supporting RSA-PTIs (Parent Training and Information Centers), RAISE also provides resources for youth and young adults with disabilities and their families.

These resources include information on vocational rehabilitation and independent living programs, communication with professionals, and understanding the provisions of the Rehabilitation Act. Contact RAISE Center for more information and access to their helpful resources
