## Description

Rally Japan, a long-awaited dream for Japanese rally fans and enthusiasts, became a reality in 2004, breaking the norm that hosting the WRC on public roads in Japan was impossible. Rally Japan was held in Hokkaido's Tokachi Obihiro until 2007, and later in Sapporo as the host town in 2008 and 2010. The event featured ceremonial starts in the heart of Obihiro city and innovative Super Special Stages at the Sapporo Dome. The 2010 edition in Hokkaido saw over 60,000 fans flocking to witness thrilling battles. With the upcoming "Forum 8 Rally Japan 2023" in Aichi and Gifu after a 12-year gap, the event continues to showcase Japan's serene countryside and sustainable rally practices. Rally Japan is committed to creating an environmentally friendly and beloved event enjoyed by teams, fans, and host communities worldwide under the motto "ENJOY! RALLY JAPAN."
