## Description

Rally is a social volunteering app built by students for students, designed to make community service easier to find and more enjoyable to do together. Launching on iOS in fall 2026, the app helps people discover, join, and track volunteer opportunities with friends. Volunteers can browse events at vetted nonprofits in their city, filter by cause, location, and vibe, sign up in one tap, log their hours, build streaks, and share a semester impact summary. They can invite roommates or clubs, or attend independently and meet others.

Rally also gives nonprofits a straightforward way to recruit and coordinate volunteers. Organizations can post opportunities with event details and requirements, reach college students through the app’s feed, track sign-ups, check in participants, and measure activity. The service currently highlights opportunities in Greater Boston and all five New York City boroughs, spanning causes such as food assistance, mentorship, parks, and animal shelters. Rally’s mission is to make volunteering feel less isolating through social motivation and a simple mobile experience.
