## Description

Randolph County Historical Black Society is a Missouri-based organization dedicated to recognizing, researching, and preserving the history of Black communities in Randolph County and nearby areas. Its work highlights the lives and contributions of people whose stories have often been overlooked in broader historical records, helping descendants and researchers reconnect with their heritage.

The Society offers specialized genealogy resources focused on local families and communities, including searchable vital records, census materials, newspapers, obituaries, headstones, photographs, and vintage maps. Its newspaper archive and collection of historical advertisements provide insights into everyday life and family histories in the region. Visitors can search records, request genealogical assistance, book a free consultation, or explore professional genealogy services, including a USB genealogy record keeper service.

The organization also invites community members to contribute verified records, photographs, and other historical materials, suggest corrections, and join its research team. Through membership, volunteer opportunities, and public resources, Randolph County Historical Black Society works to preserve ancestral stories and strengthen connections across generations.
