## Description

The Society for Range Management (SRM) is an international brand that brings together individuals who are involved in managing, conserving, and appreciating rangelands, which encompass diverse landscapes like prairies, woodlands, and savannahs that cover almost half of the earth's land. SRM comprises land managers, scientists, educators, ranchers, and conservationists who are committed to the stewardship of rangelands based on sound ecological principles. With a mission to provide leadership for the stewardship of rangelands, SRM aims to create a community of well-trained and highly motivated professionals working towards productive and sustainable rangeland ecosystems. SRM offers various programs, certifications, and resources to support its members, including certifications in range management, student activities, scholarships, publications, trainings, and technical resources. By fostering community, driving science, and informing policy-makers, SRM plays a vital role in promoting the sustainable management of rangelands worldwide.
