## Description

Rapid3D develops technology that turns everyday video into explorable 3D environments, supporting resilience, preparedness, training and creative production. Its proprietary reconstruction pipeline uses footage from mobile phones or 360° cameras to create 3D models that can be connected into larger scene-based environments. The company reports a 30-minute rendering target, with processing time dependent on capture quality, scene size and other conditions.

Rapid3D is also advancing live 3D modelling and plans to add Gaussian Splatting to its platform; both are still in development or planned, rather than generally available. Through Project Vanguard, Rapid3D and Temotiva are working on an educational platform for city-level resilience and preparedness, with European partners. Completed pilots in Kongsberg, Norway, and Sant Joan, Spain, have reconstructed fire-station training facilities from mobile-phone and 360° video. The company is also exploring applications for emergency-response workflows, including report verification and situation awareness, in consultation with stakeholders.

In film production, Rapid3D is collaborating with Four and a Half to explore vessel reconstruction, previsualisation, and potential visual-effects and virtual-production workflows.
