## Description

Rappn is a free, independent grocery app built in Switzerland for people who want to compare supermarket offers and organise their shopping. Available for iOS and Android in German, French, Italian and English, it covers offers from Migros, Coop, Aldi, Lidl, Denner, Aligro and Otto’s, filtered by canton. Shoppers can compare discounts, pack sizes and unit prices, and check each offer’s validity and conditions before buying.

The app brings together current flyers, product search, price alerts and shared shopping lists that sync in real time. Users can add recipe ingredients to a list, monitor regularly purchased products and store loyalty cards such as Cumulus and Supercard. Receipt scanning categorises purchases and provides spending overviews by category and month, helping users review their grocery budgets.

Rappn is owned by Rappn GmbH, based in Zug, and says it is not owned or paid by supermarkets, does not sell groceries or user data, and ranks offers by price alone. The core features are free, with no account required.
