## Description

The Raptor Research Foundation is an international scientific society dedicated to advancing the science, conservation, and understanding of birds of prey. It brings together professional scientists, educators, wildlife managers, conservationists, students, and amateur raptor enthusiasts to build and share knowledge and help address raptor conservation issues worldwide.

The foundation supports this work through publications, events, and opportunities for research and professional development. Its Journal of Raptor Research is a quarterly, peer-reviewed international publication covering raptor ecology, behavior, life history, conservation, and research techniques. Other resources include press releases, a techniques manual, and research reports. The foundation also organizes an annual conference featuring scientific programming, field trips, workshops, and symposia.

Members and non-members can apply for a range of annual awards and research or travel grants, with opportunities supporting students, early-career researchers, and work in specific regions or fields. Through membership, its publications, conferences, grants, and conservation initiatives, the Raptor Research Foundation fosters collaboration and promotes the accumulation and dissemination of scientific information about raptors.
