## Description

The Philip E. and Carole R. Ratcliffe Foundation is a charitable organization that is dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship, creating job opportunities, and expanding economic opportunities. Founded by Philip and Carole Ratcliffe in 2003, the foundation's mission is to provide aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners with access to education and training, enabling them to grow their ventures and make a positive impact in their local communities.

The foundation supports various programs, including the Ratcliffe Scholars Program, which offers scholarships to students studying entrepreneurship and business management at Anne Arundel Community College. In addition to supporting colleges and universities in Delaware, Florida, Maryland, Ohio, and Virginia, the foundation also sponsors initiatives in areas such as art and design incubation, environmental entrepreneurship, creative entrepreneurship, orthopaedic research, and business innovation.

Carole Ratcliffe continues to be actively engaged in the foundation's work, following the passing of Philip Ratcliffe. Their legacy lives on through the countless individuals who have achieved their goals and dreams with the support of programs funded by the foundation. The Ratcliffes exemplified servant leadership, and their wisdom and generosity continue to inspire others to work hard, give back, and make the world a better place.
