## Description

RawGit is a brand that served raw files directly from GitHub with proper Content-Type headers. However, it has reached the end of its useful life and will soon be shutting down. Despite its small hobby project origins, RawGit achieved remarkable popularity, serving over 4.2 billion requests and consuming more than 176 terabytes of bandwidth last month alone. Unfortunately, it has also become a platform for distributing malware, which prompted the decision to shut it down. Existing GitHub repositories that served content through RawGit within the last month will still be operational until at least October of 2019. For those currently using RawGit, it is advised to stop using it as soon as possible. However, there are several alternative services available, such as jsDelivr, GitHub Pages, CodeSandbox, and unpkg, which offer similar functionality to RawGit.
