## Description

Rayglides is an Indian solar-powered mobility startup focused on making short-distance urban travel cleaner and more efficient. Originating as a college research idea to address urban transport challenges, the company now operates a hybrid e-rickshaw ride network that combines electric charging with solar energy and localized charging infrastructure. Passengers can book a zero-emission RayGlider through its ride service, while drivers can join the network to access vehicles, flexible working hours, technical support, and the potential for lower operating costs without petrol expenses.

Rayglides also offers plug-and-play solar roof retrofit kits for existing commercial electric vehicles. The company says these systems can charge vehicles while they are moving and extend daily range by up to 30%, with universal compatibility. Its services are designed to support both riders and fleet operators seeking practical alternatives to conventional fuel-powered transport. Through its mobility network and solar hardware, Rayglides aims to reduce the carbon footprint of everyday journeys and expand access to sustainable transport in Indian cities.
