## Description

Ruderclub Aarburg is a rowing club founded on 12 August 1918 to promote rowing on the Aare River above the Ruppoldingen power station. A member of the Swiss Rowing Federation, the club has around 100 members and welcomes people interested in discovering or developing their rowing skills.

The club offers rowing courses for adults, refresher courses, junior training and rowing instruction for young people. Its programmes provide opportunities for newcomers to learn the sport and for younger members to train with the club. Members also take part in regattas, club competitions and rowing outings, reflecting an active community built around the sport.

Based in Aarburg, the club maintains a boathouse that can be rented for family celebrations, birthdays and other occasions. Visitors can find information about bookings, viewings, parking and directions through the club’s website, which also provides an agenda, training information, news and links to current weather and water-level data.
