## Description

The Representative for Children and Youth in British Columbia (RCYBC) serves as a vital voice for the province's youth, advocating for their rights and well-being. Led by Dr. Jennifer Charlesworth since 2018, RCYBC emphasizes gratitude and respect while working on the traditional territories of Indigenous peoples. The organization provides a range of services aimed at fostering belonging and support among young individuals. Their microsite dedicated to "Belonging" offers valuable resources that can be utilized in workshops and presentations, highlighting the importance of a supportive community for youth. Despite a temporary closure of their Prince George office during relocation, RCYBC remains committed to assisting the public through phone inquiries. The organization actively encourages engagement with its work via social media platforms, creating a safe space for youth to express themselves and connect. Stay tuned for updates on their upcoming grand reopening, as RCYBC continues to grow and adapt in its mission to empower young people across B.C.
