## Description

Reach Neuro, Inc. is an early-stage neurotechnology company focused on helping people recover movement after stroke. Based in neuroscience and centered on patient needs, the company aims to extend the rehabilitation journey for people living with chronic stroke and other debilitating neurological disorders. Its technology is designed to work with the nervous system to restore control of the shoulder, arm, and hand.

Reach Neuro’s approach uses spinal cord stimulation. Stroke can weaken the brain’s ability to control movement; the company’s system targets neurons in the cervical spinal cord associated with upper-limb movement. An implanted electrode array and pulse generator deliver small, precisely timed electrical pulses, with stimulation tailored to each patient through device programming. The goal is to reawaken relevant neural pathways and help patients regain arm movement and independence.

The company’s work brings together expertise in neuroscience, engineering, medicine, quality, and regulatory affairs. Reach Neuro is based in Providence, Rhode Island, and shares updates on its technology and research, including a feasibility trial for people with chronic post-stroke hemiparesis.
