## Description

**Read Conmigo** is an innovative grant program initiated by The Kemper Foundation, designed to enhance the educational experiences of bilingual/dual-language (Spanish-English) elementary teachers and their students. Specifically catering to K-5 educators, this program awards up to 100 grants annually, each worth $3,000, aimed at teachers in selected counties of California, Florida, and Texas. The grants provide essential classroom resources such as supplies, materials, and field trips, as well as professional development opportunities including workshops and conferences.

To qualify, applicants must be licensed teachers with at least two years of experience in dual-language education, dedicating a significant portion of their instructional time to group teaching. The program operates with two grant cycles each year, allowing educators to access vital support in both the fall and spring. Interested teachers are encouraged to apply through the online portal and stay informed about updates and future grant opportunities by subscribing to the Read Conmigo mailing list, fostering a community dedicated to bilingual education and student success.
