## Description

The Reading List, also known as Reading List Editorial, is an editorial team that helps authors, publishers, and businesses improve books and bring their ideas to readers. For fifteen years, the company has supported the creation of fiction and nonfiction, including novels, memoirs, and academic texts. Its approach combines editorial expertise with respect for each writer’s intentions, helping clients strengthen their work while preserving their individual voice.

Services cover every stage of a book project, from early assessment to final polish. Authors can choose manuscript critiques and developmental editing to evaluate structure and content, or line editing, copyediting, and proofreading for more detailed revisions. The team also offers book production and book proposal development. Clients who are unsure which service fits their manuscript can contact the editors for guidance and discuss their project confidentially.

The Reading List has worked with organizations including Abrams, HarperCollins, Scholastic, McSweeney’s / Voice of Witness, and Wayne State University Press.
