## Description

Read Rare is a digital library of rare internal memos, leaked handbooks, historic documents, and overlooked books about technology, business, and the people who shaped them. Its collection brings together 54 works from figures and organizations including Apple, Intel, Google, Netflix, Facebook, Microsoft, Sequoia Capital, and Warren Buffett. Visitors can browse the shelf or explore documents and books by title, author, organization, or year, with every item available to read or borrow for free.

The document collection ranges from early technical and business writing, such as Claude Shannon’s 1948 communication theory and Intel’s 1968 offering memo, to influential company materials such as Netflix’s culture deck, Facebook’s Little Red Book, and Sequoia’s YouTube investment memo. The book section features business histories, memoirs, and works on computing, leadership, and innovation, including The HP Way, Made in Japan, and Hard Drive. By gathering these materials in one accessible place, Read Rare helps curious readers discover primary sources, revisit landmark ideas, and explore how organizations and industries have changed over time.
