## Description

RecipeSage is a free, open-source personal cookbook and recipe organizer that brings recipes from websites, photos, PDFs, documents, and handwritten cards into one searchable collection. Available through web, desktop, iOS, and Android apps, it syncs recipes, meal plans, and shopping lists across devices, with offline access for cooking and shopping.

The platform helps users organize recipes with search and labels, track nutrition, scale servings, and convert measurements. Its distraction-free Cook Mode displays ingredients and instructions while users prepare a dish, and built-in kitchen tools include pan-size and measurement converters, a temperature lookup, and a nutrition calculator. Users can plan meals on a calendar, create categorized shopping lists from recipes, and share or collaborate with family and friends.

RecipeSage also supports bulk imports from numerous recipe and note-taking services, browser extensions for clipping recipes, and exports to PDF, JSON-LD, or plain text. It offers native apps for Windows, macOS, and Linux alongside mobile apps and a web app.
