## Description

RecoveryUprise is a Portland-founded organization supporting Oregon’s peer recovery workforce and wider recovery community. Its work brings together advocacy, education, practical resources, and community connection to help strengthen recovery services across the state.

The organization’s resource directory connects people with crisis hotlines, peer support, housing and employment assistance, and certification pathways. For providers and aspiring professionals, RecoveryUprise offers testing guides to help prepare for Oregon’s QMHA-I, CADC-I, and CRM-II exams. It also provides technical support to peer service agencies, including program development, data collection, auditing, and training. A continuing education course on building youth resiliency is in development.

RecoveryUprise’s community calendar helps people find and share meetings, workshops, rallies, celebrations, and training opportunities throughout Oregon. Its advocacy work shares policy updates, encourages contact with legislators, and invites people to use lived experience to inform public decisions. Through these services, RecoveryUprise aims to connect Oregon’s recovery workforce, support professional learning, and promote policies that expand behavioral health care and workforce equity.
