## Description

Red Hot Pawn Chess is an online chess community bringing players together since 2001. It focuses on daily correspondence chess, where players take turns over hours or days, making it easy to think carefully and play around a busy schedule. Members can also choose real-time live games, rated or casual matches, and chess variants. The service is free to join and play, with optional premium memberships that unlock additional features.

Players can enter regularly scheduled tournaments, join chess clubs, compete in clan team matches, and connect through forums, blogs, leaderboards, ladders, and private messaging. For practice and learning, Red Hot Pawn offers interactive puzzles, chess guides, a coordinate trainer, annotated games, opening resources, and tools including FEN and PGN viewers. Users can also play unrated games against the computer.

The website works in a browser, while iOS and Android apps support correspondence play and move notifications; games sync across devices. Live chess is available on the web only.
