## Description

Red, White & BOOM! is a nonprofit organization that brings the Columbus, Ohio, community together for an annual Independence Day celebration. Established in 1981, the festival is described as the Midwest’s largest, drawing more than 400,000 visitors to downtown Columbus each year. Its centerpiece is a major fireworks show, accompanied by a parade, a street festival, and live musical entertainment. The event is free and open to the public, with VIP tickets also available for purchase.

Red, White & BOOM! is a 501(c)(3) organization supported by a volunteer board and funded 92% through private contributions. Volunteers, vendors, and sponsors help make the large-scale, single-day gathering possible. The organization works with sponsors including Encova Insurance, NBC4 (WCMH-TV), G&J Pepsi, and WNCI to sustain the event and its tradition. Festival information includes guides to activities, participation, parking, transportation, and event policies. The celebration also features the Ford Oval of Honor and offers opportunities for businesses and others to sponsor or participate.
