# Reef Guardians - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `reefguardians.org` ## Description Reef Guardians Hawaii is an environmental nonprofit dedicated to protecting coral reefs and coastal waters through research, education, and community action. Based in Hawaii, the organization works with local residents, volunteers, researchers, and partner organizations to support healthier marine ecosystems and help people understand how to care for them. Its conservation work includes community water-quality testing, reef restoration, research on coral health using artificial intelligence and robotics, and efforts to address leaking oil wells. The organization also supports sea turtle conservation, including public education about identifying and protecting Hawaii’s endangered hawksbill turtles. Projects such as the Nā Kiaʻi Āpapa signage campaign share practical guidance with beach visitors on protecting themselves and the natural environment. Reef Guardians Hawaii offers educational programs for children, families, and visitors. These include Reef Camp, an online sea school that combines Western science with Hawaiian cultural perspectives, and the free Hawaii SeaLife app, which helps users identify more than 300 coastal and near-shore species. ## Industries - 🎗 Community and Society - 🎗 Philanthropy _(under Community and Society)_ - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 Environmental Science _(under Science and Education)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/ReefGuardiansHawaii) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/reef.guardians) - [youtube](https://youtube.com/channel/UCKFugo9aia1qzsL2mB5ND2w) ## Logos & icons - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idhQjJ1W-C/w/1499/h/1499/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792431895740) - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idhQjJ1W-C/w/226/h/112/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792431895318) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Picton Blue | #3899ec | accent | | Denim | #1d67cd | dark | | Cherokee | #fcd29d | light | ## Fonts - Arial — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
