IRAP, the International Refugee Assistance Project, is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing resources and support to individuals fleeing conflict. With a mission to ensure everyone has a safe place to live and a safe way to get there, IRAP offers various services and programs to assist refugees and asylum-seekers. IRAP has three main departments: the Legal Services Department, the Litigation Department, and the Policy Department.

Through these departments, they offer legal assistance, litigation support, and advocacy to protect and expand U. S. Their work covers a range of issue areas, including Special Immigrant Visas (SIV), asylum and detention, climate displacement, and more.

IRAP also offers comprehensive legal resources, with a database of information, publications, and practice guides for legal practitioners. To further their impact, IRAP has an Audacious Project aimed at helping 2. 5 million displaced people worldwide access pathways to safe resettlement.
