REGIM-Lab., established in January 1997 by Prof. Adel M. ALIMI, has grown to become a renowned research laboratory focusing on intelligent machines. Originally founded at the National Engineering School of Sfax (ENIS), University of Sfax, it transitioned to a full-fledged research laboratory in January 2011. Under the leadership of Dr. Fadoua DRIRA since May 2021, REGIM-Lab. aims to advance science and technology in Tunisia.

The laboratory's primary mission is to generate innovative knowledge for the benefit of humanity, specializing in artificial intelligence to address societal and industrial needs. The dedicated research team at REGIM-Lab. explores data science applications across four key axes, collaborating with national and international entities to develop cutting-edge solutions. As an active contributor to Tunisia's scientific advancement, REGIM-Lab. fosters partnerships with educational institutions, research laboratories, and industries to create sustainable and innovative outcomes.
