## Description

The Regional Science Association International (RSAI), established in 1954, is a global network of scholars dedicated to understanding the regional impacts of economic and social changes at both national and global levels. With a strong foundation in quantitative methods, RSAI aims to advance research in regional science, offering innovative models for analysis and impact assessment.

The Association fosters a multidisciplinary approach, encouraging collaboration among experts from various fields to address regional challenges effectively. RSAI serves as an umbrella organization overseeing three major superregional bodies in North America, Europe, and the Pacific. Its objectives include promoting the exchange of ideas, supporting publications, and providing resources to enhance the work of its members.

RSAI also recognizes excellence in research and scholarship through various awards, such as the Hirotada Kohno Award and the RSAI Annual Award. Through its commitment to nurturing new talent and engaging academic researchers with policymakers, RSAI plays a significant role in the advancement of regional science worldwide.
