## Description

The Regional Studies Association (RSA) is an independent, non-partisan learned society dedicated to advancing regional studies and science. Through an international membership, it connects academics, students, practitioners and policymakers, providing a network and an authoritative voice for people engaged with regions and regional issues. Its mission is to promote academic excellence, scholarly discussion, policy impact and the open exchange of knowledge across borders, without taking positions on international relations or geopolitics.

The RSA supports its community through membership, research networks, territorial networks and communities, including networks for women, students and early-career researchers. It offers funding opportunities, grants and awards, and shares career and development opportunities. Members and interested audiences can take part in conferences, events and webinars, and access publications including journals, special issues, books and the Regions & Cities book series.
