## Description

ReHuNa, the Brazilian Network for the Humanization of Childbirth and Birth, is a civil society organization that has worked nationwide as a network since 1993. It helps shape Brazil’s movement for more humane childbirth and perinatal care, with the broader goal of advancing obstetric reform. Its work promotes public policies, supports legal action on issues with significant impact, and shares scientific information about evidence-based care centered on the people receiving it.

ReHuNa’s activities span institutional relations, legal advocacy, education and science, communications, and its network of embassies. The organization offers opportunities to participate through membership, bringing together institutions, professionals, students, and activists committed to change. Members can receive updates on legislation, legal proceedings, and scientific developments. ReHuNa also provides educational and informational resources through courses, conferences, articles, a blog, an archival collection, and scientific proceedings. By combining advocacy, legal engagement, and knowledge-sharing, the network works to encourage more respectful, evidence-informed care during pregnancy, birth, and the perinatal period.
