Regional Education and Information Centre (REIC) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization based in Sarajevo. Established in 2005, REIC was created as part of the regional training project scheme (EESD - Environmental Education for Sustainable Development) for the Adriatic-Ionian basin. With a focus on sustainable development, REIC aims to identify environmental problems and needs in the Southeast Europe (SEE) region, which includes Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, FYR Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, and Serbia. REIC offers specialized services in climate change adaptation and mitigation, sustainable development education, environmental assessment, energy efficiency and renewable energy sources, air quality management, and water management. As a nucleus for environmental education and regional integration practices, REIC collaborates with international networks to enhance educational initiatives.
