# Reiko Muranaga - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `reikomuranaga.com` ## Description Reiko Muranaga is a San Francisco-based artist whose work centers on oil painting and her ongoing “Letter to Monet” series. The series began in 2004 after a visit to the Musée Marmottan in Paris, where a Monet painting made a lasting impression. Back in her studio, Muranaga began layering oil paints while reflecting on Monet’s technique. She describes her creative process as exploratory rather than planned, involving continual additions, revisions, changes, and sometimes deletions, much like composing music. The site features recent works, including “Page 218” (2016), an oil-on-canvas painting measuring 36 by 24 inches and described as containing more than 100,000 brush strokes. Muranaga accepts commissions and provides information for private and corporate collectors. Her paintings have reached collectors worldwide, with 215 pieces reported in private and corporate collections. The site also shares her artist profile, media contact details, and information about Giant Scroll events, offering audiences ways to learn about and engage with her artistic practice. ## Industries - 🍿 Arts and Entertainment - 🍿 Visual Arts and Design _(under Arts and Entertainment)_ - 💎 Luxury - 💎 Fine Art and Collectibles _(under Luxury)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/reikoartstudio) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/reikoartstudio) - [twitter](https://twitter.com/ReikoArtStudio) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idrctxkKuP/w/266/h/39/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793127935161) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idrctxkKuP/w/400/h/400/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793127935668) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Orange | #fa652a | accent | | Tundora | #424242 | dark | | White | #ffffff | light | ## Fonts - Open Sans — asset _(google)_ - Open Sans — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
