## Description

The Hakurei Shrine Reitaisai is a vibrant annual event dedicated exclusively to works from the Touhou Project franchise, organized by the Hakurei Shrine's management. Since its inception in the spring of 2004, this gathering has evolved into a key player in the doujinshi community, featuring a wide array of activities every year, including the Spring Reitaisai and the Autumn Reitaisai, which are held biannually. Attendees can explore a rich variety of fan-made creations, such as books, music CDs, and merchandise, while also enjoying corporate exhibitions, cosplay contests, and unique displays like decorated cars. In addition to the main events in Japan, the shrine also hosts activities abroad, including the Reitaisai in Taiwan and the Hakurei Shrine Uta Matsuri, a live event celebrating Touhou Project's fan music. This inclusive festival cultivates a community atmosphere for Touhou fans and creators alike, making it a must-visit for enthusiasts of the franchise.
