## Description

Reitanlage am Elsenberg is a horse boarding facility in Schermbeck-Damm, operating since 2011 on a historic agricultural property first documented in 1864. Located between the Ruhr area and Hohe Mark Nature Park, near the Rhineland, the facility welcomes horses and riders of all disciplines. Its approach puts horse welfare first, with regionally sourced feed produced on site and care tailored to each horse’s needs.

The grounds include bright, well-ventilated stalls with windows, hay feeding largely from hay racks, and around six hectares of pasture. Riding facilities comprise a 20-by-40-metre indoor arena, illuminated outdoor arenas measuring 20 by 40 and 20 by 60 metres, and a horse walker with automatic direction changes. Additional amenities include a solarium with dryer, wash bay, tack rooms, trailer parking, a small lounge, and access to the Euregio riding trail network.

Services include roughage twice daily, or three times daily in winter, and concentrate feed twice daily, with owners’ own feed also accommodated. Stalls are mucked out daily except Sundays and public holidays.
