## Description

The Irish Cancer Society is a leading organization dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by cancer. As a proud global partner in the Relay For Life initiative, it collaborates with 35 countries to host impactful fundraising events. Relay For Life is a 24-hour community gathering that celebrates cancer survivors, honors those lost to the disease, and supports those currently battling cancer. Participants walk in teams, ensuring that someone is on the track at all times, while also engaging in various activities, live entertainment, and the poignant Candle of Hope ceremony. This event not only raises critical funds for life-saving cancer research and free patient services but also fosters a sense of community and shared purpose. The Irish Cancer Society invites individuals, whether they are survivors, supporters, or new participants, to join local events, create teams, or even establish new relays in their communities, making it a truly inclusive and accessible initiative for everyone.
