## Description

RELEN S.R.L. is an energy-from-biomass business based in Faedis, in the province of Udine, Italy. Founded in 2008, the company works in the wood biomass sector and is part of AIEL’s GPPB (Professional Biomass Producers Group), where it undertakes training and receives support in developing its professional expertise.

RELEN sells A1-classified wood chips, with quality supported by analyses from a laboratory recognised by Accredia. The company also assists customers with initial assessments, system design, commissioning and management of biomass plants for thermal energy production. Its services include organising the recovery of untreated wood, logs and branches, as well as collecting used wooden pallets through its RePalNet project. Pallet collection is arranged according to the condition and storage of the pallets, with the process tailored to each customer’s needs and accompanied by the required transport documentation.

RELEN also evaluates whether businesses and organisations could benefit from replacing fossil-fuel systems with renewable wood-biomass alternatives. Its work reflects a focus on sustainable development and practical biomass energy solutions.
