## Description

Renegades Rugby League is a rugby league organisation established in 2024 in Bundaberg, Queensland. Its goal is to create playing opportunities for local Wide Bay players across different formats and levels of the game, including local, intrastate, interstate and international competitions. The organisation focuses particularly on nine-a-side rugby league, offering players a chance to take part in 9s competitions in Australia and overseas.

Renegades’ activities include local rugby league coaching and development, the WB Renegades 9s competitions, and international competition and touring through Renegades RL. The organisation has also expanded to include the LA Renegades, based in West Los Angeles. Its gallery highlights participation in events such as the NRL Vegas 9s in February 2025 and the 2025 Townsville Mendi 9s. Through its teams, development activities and tours, Renegades Rugby League aims to connect players with varied opportunities to experience the sport, including competition beyond their local area.
