## Description

Renkajärvi Protection Association (Renkajärven suojeluyhdistys ry) is a Finnish environmental association dedicated to protecting and improving the condition of Renkajärvi, Kynnösjärvi and Veittijärvi, their catchment areas, and the surrounding Renkajoki River in Kanta-Häme. Its work along the river extends from Renkajärvi to Kuittilankoski. The association collaborates with regional environmental and water organisations, forestry representatives, landowners, and local fishing and community associations. Residents are invited to join and contribute to the protection of the area.

The association shares information about the lakes and river through its website, including water measurements, analyses, ecological studies, local history and practical protection guidance. It also publishes news, the Renkajärveläinen magazine and a lake calendar, and makes research materials and meeting records available. Community activities include seasonal gatherings and other local events. Through social media and its YouTube channel, the association shares local updates, photographs and videos of Renkajärvi and Renkajoki. These activities connect residents with the area’s natural environment and cultural heritage while supporting informed, collective stewardship.
