## Description

The Victorian Spearfishing Commission is an organisation based in Victoria, Australia, offering an equipment library for verified members of approved clubs and organisations. Its service allows eligible members to borrow spearfishing equipment for use in local Victorian waters or on overseas trips. The default loan period is three days, and each loan request is reviewed by an administrator; the Commission reserves the right to refuse a request.

To access the library, members sign up with their club or organisation, whose administrator or club owner verifies their membership before they can request equipment. A per-item holding deposit applies, with the amount depending on the equipment borrowed. Deposits can be paid in cash or by bank transfer, and an administrator verifies payment before pickup. The deposit is refunded when equipment is returned on time.

The Commission’s website also provides information about nationals, guides, dive sites and supporters. Members can contact the organisation by message with questions about loans, membership or the library.
