The idea of Rentolf was born 10 years ago when the founder and his friends discussed starting a business for part-time jobs. Determined to settle these idle items without having to sell them, the idea of a "Rental Marketplace" was conceived. Extensive research revealed numerous opportunities in the rental market, and thus, Rentolf was established in 2018 in Hong Kong as a platform to connect hosts and consumers.

Rentolf's vision is to create a better environment by releasing the potential values of idle items and reducing the waste associated with unnecessary purchases and storage. By encouraging users to consider renting items before buying, Rentolf aims to facilitate a shift in consumer behavior towards more conscious and sustainable choices.
