## Description

جمعية رسالة is a renowned brand that originated on June 25, 1999 as a student activity at the Faculty of Engineering in Cairo University. It was founded by a group of students who studied the ethics of engineering profession in the Communications Engineering Department, under the guidance of Dr. Sherif Abdelazim. The team's main goal was to promote volunteering, positivity, and collaboration within the college and the community as a whole. In the year 2000, جمعية رسالة transformed into a registered charity with the Ministry of Social Affairs, thanks to a generous donation of land from a female student at the college, which allowed them to expand their mission beyond the university. Over time, the activities of جمعية رسالة have grown and diversified, making it one of the largest charitable organizations in Egypt and the largest volunteer-based entity in the Arab world. With more than 60 branches spread across Egypt, over 200,000 volunteers serve millions of Egyptians each year through around 30 different voluntary activities. These include orphan care, elderly support, sheltering street children, assisting visually impaired and deaf individuals, providing free tutoring and literacy programs, organizing used clothing exhibitions, blood donations, computer and language education, human development, Quran teaching, aid for the needy, charity caravans to impoverished villages, medical missions, addiction treatment, feeding the poor, productive projects for the underprivileged, mosque and school restoration, fulfilling the wishes of children with cancer, youth ethical awareness, street and park cleaning, spreading joy among people, and animal welfare.
