## Description

The Rescue for PTSD is a dedicated organization that connects dogs with Veterans and First Responders nationwide, offering invaluable support through canine rehabilitation. With a strong presence on social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, the R4PTSD Team engages with the community to share updates and success stories.

In addition to their dog rescue efforts, The Rescue for PTSD hosts a Monthly Group Class in Houston, Texas, specifically designed for Veterans and First Responders accompanied by their dogs. This program, directed by Samantha Scott, provides comprehensive training in various skills essential for becoming effective service dog teams. Graduates of the program achieve certifications such as AKC Star Puppy and Canine Good Citizen, and continue to participate in follow-up check-ins to maintain their skills.

The organization is also expanding, with plans to open a second location in Denver, Colorado. By fostering a supportive community, The Rescue for PTSD empowers individuals to navigate their daily lives with confidence alongside their canine companions.
