# Rescue Me! - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `rescueshelter.com` ## Description Rescue Me! is a dedicated animal rescue network founded by Jeff Gold in Watkinsville, Georgia, with a mission to find loving homes for dogs, cats, and other animals in need. Established in 2003, its initial focus on boxer rescues led to the successful placement of over 500 boxers, prompting the expansion to include all breeds. The organization features an extensive and up-to-date directory through RescueShelter.com, connecting individuals with the world's largest collection of animal rescue organizations and wildlife rehabilitators across more than 150 countries. In addition to these services, Rescue Me! also runs an Animal Rehabilitation Center, where staff and volunteers engage with rescue animals daily through activities like Pack Walks. The organization emphasizes the importance of spaying and neutering pets and provides opportunities for community members to volunteer, donate, or memorialize pets. With an overarching goal of helping animals in need, Rescue Me! embodies compassion and dedication towards improving the lives of countless animals. ## Industries - 🐶 Pets and Animals - 🎗 Community and Society - 🎗 Philanthropy _(under Community and Society)_ ## Links - [twitter](https://twitter.com/RescueMeOrg) ## Logos & icons - icon _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idrjiutcHd/w/400/h/400/theme/dark/icon.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1789852713304) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Spicy Mix | #8a523e | accent | | Lonestar | #660000 | dark | | Jordy Blue | #8cb9f3 | light | ## Imagery - banner _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idrjiutcHd/w/1500/h/500/idktSGntTI.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1789852713077) --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
