## Description

Rescue the Animals, SPCA, founded in 1998, is an outstanding humane organization based in Abilene, Texas. We are dedicated to helping homeless animals and fighting against animal abuse and neglect. Covering over 20 West Texas counties, we provide a lifeline to countless animals, promoting spay/neuter efforts and advocating for their well-being. As a 501 C 3 non-profit organization, all donations made to us are tax deductible, and our funding comes solely from private donations.

What sets us apart is our nationwide reach through our Pets On The Go National Network. With partners in 41 states and Canada, we transport animals from Abilene to their new homes, expanding our market nationally. Our Rehabilitation and Transportation Center, the largest of its kind in the nation, houses animals awaiting transportation or undergoing rehabilitation. We provide comprehensive medical care, including surgeries and treatments for various illnesses, ensuring each animal receives the necessary attention.

We work closely with law enforcement officials in over 20 West Texas counties on abuse and neglect investigations, helping create a network to combat these issues. We're proud to have been named the Outstanding Humane Organization in America in 2011, receiving the prestigious Spirit of Compassion Award from the North Shore Animal League America.

You can support our cause by donating, staying updated on news and events through our newsletter, and following us on social media. Visit our website to learn more about adoptable animals, lost animals, and our spay/neuter initiatives. Join us in making a difference in the lives of animals in need.
